A Note from the Owner

Mark,

Here is my 1967 Yamaha Big Bear Scrambler 250. A friend and I bought 2 of these new in 1967.My friend still had this one and I was able to buy it from him last year and carried it home in boxes as he had taken it apart with thoughts of restoring it.

After long hours in the shop and on the internet looking for parts, it all came together. Along with the bike came the original sales slip where it was purchased new for $680. I also got a sales slip for parts that were damaged in an off road crash dated 6/68 that consisted of new handlebars, grips, footpeg rubbers, gearshift lever and a tail light lens. Total for parts including tax was $16.10 !  Those were the days! I have 262miles on the bike since completion and have enjoyed every one of them.
