Photo Submissions:
Monthly Vintage Spotlight

Photo requirements:
We will only accept .JPG images. The quality of your photo will be as important as the motorcycle itself. We want to present your vintage treasure to our visitors in the best possible way.

Digital photos work the best. Using a high quality scanner and a clear photo might also work for you, but only crisp, clear images will be chosen.

Your photo will be sized to fit on a 600 x 800 web page.  If you are using a digital camera, keep in mind that a large format might cause your image to become distorted when we size it to fit, and not be acceptable.

Pay special attention to what you have in the background of your photos.  (avoid cars, houses, and other distractions in the background)  An outdoor woods or forest backdrop looks good, or a flat background such as a brick wall. If you're using an SLR, setting your depth-of-field for a fuzzy background works too.

Only TWO photo attachments per submission please, so pick your two best looking images before you submit.

Photo suggestions:
Slightly quartered shots from the front or rear typically look the best, as opposed to a straight-on shot from the side.

Unless you have something unique to show on the top of your bike, don't shot your photos from an elevated position...please drop to knee level before shooting.

Contrast is good, so a little Armor All© to flat-black areas and rubber looks good.
(use caution with Armor All© on the tires)

In Addition:
We are also requesting a brief write-up about the bike's history, and about yourself. If you're not comfortable with this, let us know what information you want displayed when you submit your photograph.

Submitting Your Photos:
